"Very deep colour. Sweet, briary, slightly baked fruit and sloe nose. Baked black fruit palate, sweet, ripe and full. Spicy, supple and slightly simple but very well balanced if slightly sweet after taste."
Smells like..."Ripe, spiced dark berry fruit with mocha complexity and vanilla hints."
Tastes like... "Smooth, deep blackberry and plum melt-in-the-mouth flavours slip down the throat like silk, helped along by fine-grained tannins, soft peppery spice notes and leather-like complexity. As it warms in the glass the wine seems to become even softer and deeper – a classic Barossa Shiraz! The incredible depth and complexity of this wine reflects the efforts of dedicated, passionate Barossa growers Randolph Bowen, and Marcus and Roslyn Schulz (whose fruit has been used in Grange!) Drink now–2015."
We’d drink it with..."Char-grilled dry aged rib-eye steak with béarnaise sauce and hand-cut chips. Or after dinner, with hard, mature cheeses."
“Great tasting wine – it felt like drinking a much more expensive wine. It ticked all the boxes in what I want from a Shiraz.”

"When I drank this wine it was so smooth and mellow that I just didn’t want the glass to finish. It was exceptionally good; actually unbeatable in fact."
